Motivational Quotes

At Sweat smart Running we have run lots of Ultra races.

  • Some long, some very long,
  • some hot some cold
  • some wet some very wet
  • Some windy some very windy
  • Some snowy some very snowy.
  • some hilly some flat.

What we are trying to say is that regardless of the race conditions, you will be on a roller coaster of emotions. Sometimes you will be up almost euphoric completely in tune with the reasons why you are doing this. There will also be times when your down and you are questioning why you are doing this and why don’t you quit. These times are tough and it is when you are at your most vulnerable your mind is very good at putting a convincing argument together on why you should quit.

At these times this is when you need to hit back, having some motivational quotes we find works really well.

You start to repeat them back sometimes saying them or yelling them out loud gives you a sense of NO I will not quit.

Below are a range of powerful quotes categorised into handy sections.
